In January, ARC officially opened our newest regional office in Birmingham, Alabama!
Since ARC was founded, we have helped successfully resolve cases across the state and formed strong relationships with public defenders, private attorneys, and other local practitioners.
Now with a permanent, physical presence in Birmingham, we are looking forward to strengthening those ties, increasing our direct services, and bring more training and support to defenders in the state.
Our newest Life History Investigator, Ashley Morgan, is our first Birmingham staff member. Ashley is a licensed master social worker with nearly nine years’ experience as an investigator and mitigation specialist. She, like all our staff, possesses the strong belief that every person is worthy of dignity and respect.
We are thrilled to start this new chapter in Alabama and deepen our commitment to ensuring that every person facing extreme sentences in the state receives high quality mitigation investigation.
