Join us to celebrate the winners of our annual awards recognizing excellence in mitigation.
Every day, mitigation specialists all over the country are out in the community visiting people, collecting and reviewing records, or spending time with their clients in order to truly understand their experiences. This is difficult, demanding work and it is life-changing to the lives of people accused of crimes. Those who have dedicated themselves to this work deserve recognition.
Each year, Advancing Real Change, Inc., presents two awards to leaders in the field of mitigation investigation: The Muhammad-White Award honors a mitigation specialist whose body of work has profoundly advanced the field of mitigation. The Emerging Leader Award is given to a mitigation specialist who represents the future of the profession.
