Interns play an important role in our work, helping with a range of case-related tasks and research. Interns may assist with a variety of activities, including:

  • records collection and analysis
  • conducting research on trauma, systemic injustices, and sentencing trends.
  • case organization, data entry, and reviewing client interview memos
  • gaining hands-on experience in how social histories shape legal outcomes while developing skills in advocacy, investigation, and trauma-informed practices
  • assisting with the development of training materials
  • tracking and analyzing program metrics
  • supporting development activities through research, drafting, and data entry
